About Me
Hello everybody!
Im a 29-year-old open minded and down-to-earth Spanish girl. As everyone in here, I love meeting new people, travelling, and learning new languages. I have a degree in Tourism and in Translation and Interpreting, so no matter where you are or what language you speak: I'm sure we will make it work (:
During summer 2011 my sister and I traveled around the world because of a prize she won in a quizz (yeah! they really exist) and I had the chance to meet sooo many different people in soo many different places. I'd love to do that throughout my entire life, but I guess we sometimes need to settle down and work.. sigh!
I formerly used this profile with her during the trip, but now it's back to me again. The best experience I ever had was my Erasmus in Lisbon in 2009. I met many lovely and awesome people in there, and I will remember them forever. That's where the travel bug hit me and I haven't stopped travelling ever since!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I LOVE meeting new people, getting to know different cultures and learning from everything around me. That's why CS is the best tool for that aim. Travelling and staying in a hotel might be good, but you cannot enjoy the country as you would if you were with someone from there, who'd show you a bit of his culture and, who knows? Maybe something about their language (:
I've both surfed and hosted people (even travelled with some CS!) and damn! I must admit it's a GREAT experience! I really encourage everyone to do so. I've met lovely people all around the world and expect to meet many more from now on!
Interests
Nothing unusual, I guess. I love listening to music, reading and learning new languages. I like talking to people from all over the world as it gives you the chance to 'build' a global image about everything (politics, culture, costumes..) and scape from the biased media we unfortunately are used to nowadays,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Got lost with a friend in Plaka, Greece when I was 15. Teachers (it was a school trip) never realised we were missing.
- I've seen the hunky hot firefighters of Boston in action. Totally worth it, even if the YMCA we were in caught fire somehow.
- I was in the bigscreen of the Blue Lays Stadium (Toronto) for some seconds. Ufortunately, I wasn't quick enough to see myself.. sigh!
- Decided to go to Sintra at 10am, after a wild night partying in Lisboa, Portugal. No sleep for 40 hours.
- Woke up by a monkey opening the window of my hostel room in Agra, India. Spent some time waiting for it to come back. It never did.
- Travelled in some indian trains with the tea merchants shouting every five minutes (chai chai chai!) and a huge lack of sleep. Challenge accepted. And achieved.
- STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION
And the most important one: Ive met lovely, funny and really great people during all these adventures!
