I'm here to break the veil.

I'm someone who insists on music, novelty, and challenge. I love meeting people and soaking up new experiences. At times I can be a solitary soul, but meeting people and sharing my experiences with others is so important. I want to face fear in the eye and befriend it.

Don't worry though, I only talk in mystical-sounding riddles when writing online profiles.

I'm 26 years old, but my mental age is more like 60. I'm an old man in a young dude's body. Truth is, I grew up pretty fast. I became a high-stakes professional poker player and was financially independent since I was 17, and I walked away from that career several years ago. I then worked as a mental coach for professional poker players and daytraders, wrote a best-selling book about everything poker taught me, transitioned into the tech world, taught at a coding bootcamp, and now I'm a software engineer at Airbnb.
