ABOUT ME
I have lived abroad without my family for eight years now. I am from Seoul, Korea, went to an international high school in Thailand (which became my second home) and I finished my bachelor's degree in psychology in St. Louis, Missouri. And now, I'm back in Seoul. I love to learn different languages, cultures, and people. Over years, I lived with many people so living/staying with other people is not a problem for me.
PHILOSOPHY
My life motto is "People will judge you no matter what: you do you." It is impossible to please everybody. I try my best not to judge other people and hoping they do the same. I cannot understand everyone but I respect their choices, decisions, and behaviors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I heard of it long time ago but I recently joined as one of my good friends highly encouraged me for this amazing global friendship.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed at a small town in Peoria, Illinois, the United States. The hosts were amazing, generous, and inspiring. The idea of meeting "strangers" with trust is simply phenomenal.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love any kinds of movies but not horror movies.
I used to read a lot of books rather than school-required books, now that I take a break from school, I should get back to my reading routine. I especially like novels.
Teach, Learn, Share
I taught Korean once, and I don't mind doing it more. Fortunately, most of my friends are international which allows me to expose to other languages and cultures.
Love cooking as well and I'm more than willing to learn and try more cuisines.
