About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finding one

ABOUT ME

I can be a bit shy, but I open up fast if the feeling is right. I am easygoing, social and helpfull. A bit lazy and more a thinker then a do-er. Although i am improving on the doing. I Like to invent/write stories, create weird situations, provoking discussions with people that have strong opinions. A bit for the sake of the argument, and a bit because i have always questionmarks and strong opinions sharpen the brain. But all in good atmosphere, for the sake of philosophy.

Actually i also need to grow up a bit and become more "responsible", but still feel like a playfull child sometimes. Maybe in future i wil find more balance.

PHILOSOPHY

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...just be nice to eachother...?

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Hable con ella, Todo sobre mi madre, Dogville, Mulholland drive, Underground, Amores Perros, Festen, BoyA, Bin jib (3-iron), Funny games and Lola Rennt just to name a few. Some say i am a feel-bad movie watcher. They might be right...but... so what.

Books: I used to read quite a lot, but kind off slowed down a bit last couple of years. Enjoyed quite some works of Dostojevski, Couldnt stop reading Snow from Orhan Pamuk, after one book of Murakami sure that i am going to read a lot more of him, was knocked out by What is the What from Eggers about a fugitive in africa.

Music:
Godspeed you black emperor, Mogwai, Tool, System of a Down, Radiohead, Deus, Pixies, Massive Attack, Ojos de Brujo, Manu Chao, The Gathering (lot of sentimental value there), motorpsycho, Regina Spektor, Sigur Ros..could continue, but this might give an idea.

In general i enjoy all art that moves me emotionally. Especially music, which is the nicest drug ever invented.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw a flamenco band with dancer in a very small and intimate place in Granada in great atmosphere. Melted to the floor when Radiohead played Weird Fishes in an open air concert in Amsterdam. Demonstrated with tenthousands of people in Prague when I was still politically sure about everything. Made and still make the best stuffed eggs you can imagen.

Teach, Learn, Share

In any new place, and with new people I learn something just by talking. Doesnt need to be cut out in practical skills. But if one is enthusiastic about something, whether it is the local history, an artform, cooking or whatever makes you tick i am all ears and eyes.

I could teach you how to juggle a bit if i happen to have my balls with me :), and cook a nice meal for you. And if you would be visiting me, I´d show you around Enschede, take you to the Volkspark to chill and relax and show you the nicest pubs.
