I have made lots of friends around the world and I don't want to stop. I have lived in Dubai and Riyadh and have become friends with other expats from around the world. I believe we can practice being a global community where empathy is first. I still love traveling and meeting gregarious people. I live part time in Provo, Utah with my husband and college age boys and part time in Hawaii where our children were raised. I still mostly live there while working on my properties and renting them out for tourism. I travel with my 11 year old daughter so she can experience the world like she did as a pre-schooler (but does not remember.)

I love classic literature such as To Kill A Mockingbird. New fictional literature such as The Help and Memoirs such as Eat, Pray, Love. Currently reading How to Change Your Mind by Michael Pollen. I love movies and music of many genres. Music varies from George Straight to Jason Mraz. Movie favorites from Hotel Rwanda to Legally Blonde to Hunger Games.

I've traveled to Singapore and met with wedding planners and ran a destination wedding venue on one of my Hawaii properties for two years. It was fast and active and then I retired it so I can do more down time and independent activities and dedicate more time to being a mom.
