About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world, enjoying its unique diversity, embracing its magic. To feel aliveness in all things.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in London, escaping the smoke when i could to enjoy natures richness and beauty. But mostly working to maintain the big city lifestyle of living for the weekend! Until in 2013, I had an experience that dramatically changed my life. I was thrown off balance and when the dust settled i felt deeply unfulfilled by all the habits and conditions I had created to give my life shape and purpose. So I packed my stuff and simply began a voyage though Asia without an intention or practice. For 2 years I have been on the road; living spontaneously, embracing the serendipity and learning so much from it.
So my philosophy is quite simple - View the world with curious eyes.
And
an important proverb to accept in all life....
"Nothing endures but change" Heraclitus
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment i am unable to offer a place to stay. I am relying on the CS community to support me for now.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just through the generosity of friends, and friends of friends. In Asia I have mostly stayed in homestays, hostels, and volunteer projects.
Interests
My passion lies in dancing, it has always been this way. But I lost touch with it for a while in London. Since I have been away, its become a huge influence on my travels; it is where i feel most present and alive. I am particularly interested in Contact Improvisation and somatic practices - Body-Mind Centering, Yoga and dance meditation.
I love to be in water; I have recently discovered a whole new world through free-diving and dancing in water.
I also enjoy hiking, riding motorbike. And recently playing chess.
