ABOUT ME

"Someone asked me the other day what i wanted to be when i grow up-the implication being, i guess, that i've yet to become an adult. i took it as a compliment. the funny thing is, i've been thinking about that a lot lately, and i'm starting to believe that there is no answer to that question. in fact, i have a deep suspicion that the term "grow up" was created by people who have absolutely no idea how to have fun-people who've never looked across a chairlift of laughing friends on a sunny powder day, or caught the last wave in after watching a perfect sunset from the water, and been struck silent by the thought: life could not get any better than this moment."

Dolphins, sharks, music, water sports, photography, snowboarding, camping, being outside, watching the sunset and sunrise, doing things that scare me and give me a rush of adrenaline, laughing, not knowing what I am going to do tomorrow, constantly accomplishing and creating new goals....

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reggae and classic rock. Anything happy and upbeat including Sublime, John Brown's Body, Slightly Stoopid, Guster, Phish, Madonna, Incubus, Atmosphere, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Jack Johnson, Neil Young, Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones, Simon and Garfunkel, U2 and many more.

I am currently watching Out cold. My favorite movie is Blue Crush but i also love Almost Famous, Christmas Vacation, Tadpole and the Whale, 50 First Dates, The Life of David Gale, Dumb and Dumber....

Occasionally I will read for fun but at the moment I am reading the good old text books. Some of my favorite books are An Embarrassment of Mangoes, Pipe Dreams, The Useless Book of Information and Inside Out.
