ABOUT ME

Hey,

My name is Mike.
I got back from spending a year in Cadiz, Spain in August 2009.
Now I'm back in Karlsruhe, Germany continuing my studies in electrial engineering.

I haven't hosted anybody yet. But had some surfing experience in Mexico this year. My sister an Dad (believe it or not) are very much into Couchsurfing and have used it quite a few times.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I don't really have a good couch to offer, but I'd more than glad to grab a cup of coffee or beer sometime.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met up with a few people to grab a drink and showed them the city.

Spent a few days on some couches in Mexico.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess the best thing so far has to be my Erasmus year in Spain.

I lived in a house with 23 other students, from all over the world. There were Mexicans, Belgians, French, English, Sweedish, Italian, Polish, Marrokean, Spanish and Germans.

It was great to interact so closely with all these different types of people.
I think I learned more about life, people and myself during this short time than in my whole life before.

I got to visit incredible places and saw so many beautiful things. I never knew what I was missing out on.

This experience really made me want to travel the world and see whats out there.

UPDATE:
In 2010 I went to Mexico and Cuba to do some backpacking! defineatly one of the great experiences so far!
