I’m Dominic from the UK, I’ve lived and worked in France, Austria, Greece and the USA doing all variety of traveling and jobs. Im a have a love of all outdoor activities and sports, including sailing, wakeboarding and camping all of which I recently taught while working at a boys camp in Maine, USA.

I like to try my hand at all an area has to offer, but I love to relax with a good book, some decent music, and take some epic photos while doing so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has been recommended to my by a friends and individuals I’ve met traveling and it looks like the perfect and most cost effective way to meet people and live in an area that can become challenging because of expensive and restrictive accommodation. Having lived with many people from over 20 counties, I found the experience of meeting new people , especially locals or those who know the area well to be much more uplifting to exploring an area than just rolling the tourist trail.

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything and anything. I’m a huge lover of classic black and white movies, theatre and dark thrillers. Fancy a chat about the latest season of Vikings, or want to watch a decent episode of the Big Lez, then I’m your guy. Always got a book or two in hand, so any personal recommendations are always gladly received.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 16 I got the chance to ski parachute off the side of a mountain in the French alps. Also, learning how to barefoot waterski.

I’m a very clean and neat Person, so don’t be scared of having a messy visitor. As a chef I have a passion for cooking so if you want the pleasure of not cooking, look no further for I can assist in all your catering needs. To be honest I wish to share in a decent story or conversation with someone. If you ever need something just ask me and I will do all I can to make it happen
