Heya, I'm Dom from the UK, recently returned from travelling in South America! I'm an easy-going, friendly person who's looking to meet local people on my travels and to learn as much as I can about the way of life in the places I visit. I am a scientist by training but am also a semi professional artist with a big interest in music and cooking. There aren’t many music genres I dislike, but some that I’ve been very into recently include jungle, trip-hop, UK garage, breakbeat, Brasilian funk, (regular) funk, punk, and dub.

My favourite film director is Stanley Kubrick, and I could talk for a while on how I think he was a visionary genius whose films had an unmistakably big impact on cinema!

I love the books of Kurt Vonnegut and Irvine Welsh, although I must admit I haven’t been reading so much recently.
