About Me

Namaste - I greet the divine within you 🙏🏼 I am a practitioner in environmental and ecological anthropologist and Co-Founder of World Over Here, a new decentralised autonomous organisation and digital magazine that sets out to revolutionise and critically analyse our human and non-human landscapes through the mediums of creativity, art, journalism, media, and conversation with cultural and environmental inclusivity at the fore. Please feel free to be part of the movement! I am also a photojournalist and filmmaker and my main areas of interest comprise of the protection of indigneous peoples and their native lands, environmental justice and political ecology, agricultural systems, the diversity of food, and ethnobotany.

I have been travelling for over a year now with my girlfriend around Europe, spending the majority of our duration in the Balkan region. We are both filmmakers and love meeting new people, delving into different sub cultures, languages, customs, and cuisine (although we are both vegan but we make do 😜)

We recently finished a film called Eyes of Patina (2021). This film is a co-created participatory documentary set in Bosnia and Herzegovina that follows migration through the Balkan region and confronting border violence and the denial of human rights. We are currently stationed in Albania and are focusing on photojournalistic work surrounding the Vjosa River and it’s environmental importance.

My main goals in life is to meet as many people as possible and share stories, and immerse myself in new cultural worlds. Everyone holds something we don’t know. I would call myself a Buddhist / Daoist and practice Thai Chi, yoga and meditation every morning. I’m deeply interested in ontology and the meaning of life and mind. Let’s have conversations about life’s wonders, Earth, and the universe!

I also love extreme sports. I skateboard, surf, snowboard, and have done a few treks in Nepal, Slovenia, and Morocco, and I am looking to one day venture to Tibet and learn from the Dharma and the Sanghas, finding refuge in the universal communality of love, peace, and spirit.

Please feel free to message and hang out! :)
