Hello there!

I'm an easy-going 26 year old from Yorkshire, England - who likes to encounter new experiences and getting to know interesting people along the way.

I have a passion for live music, whereby I play guitar recreationally, attend gigs supporting the local music scene and travelled Europe to festivals such as Sziget, Lisbon Alive and Glastonbury to name a few.

Combining my interests for learning cultures, meeting people and discovering new music; I recently hosted a Dutch band via the Couchsurfing app in which we attended their gig and showed them round the city. Subsequently, I have used the app whilst travelling in Europe for places to stay and to encounter a more authentic experience of local culture life.

Some other hobbies of mine include cycling, bouldering and watching films at the cinema.

Favourite city: Copenhagen

I have a recent masters graduate in Chemical Engineering, currently working in Birmingham for a confectionary company with a seemingly endless supply of chocolate!

Was recommended to use Couchsurfing as a way of meeting new people and a great tool for socialising whilst travelling in Europe in the summer of 2016.

Música, películas y libros

Grew up listening to UK indie music and my Dad's music collection in the car on long journeys. Artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Foals, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Maccabees, Tame Impala, Radiohead, The Beatles, Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac, Carole King hold a place close to my heart.

Naturally broadened my musical horizons since leaving home for University listening to more electronic acts such as Bonobo, Jamie XX, James Blake, Aphex Twin, Four Tet, Little Dragon etc etc.
