About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To keep on feeling inspired by life.
ABOUT ME
I live to enjoy life, people, travel and every new experience this world has to throw me. Life is but a series of moments and we need to grab them while we can.
I am trained as a journalist but simply love writing in many forms, including poetry, spoken word, travel stories and at the moment I'm writing a non-fiction book.
PHILOSOPHY
Live, laugh and love. Nothing more, nothing less. Each to their own really, I love exploring new cultures and understanding their ways and means.
While I do not subscribe to an orthodox religion I have a strong sense of spirituality.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortnately, I've got no couchsurfing experience just yet but I have hosted a couple of people in my former pad in London.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Crashed on a lot of floors, couches and hammocks over the years, but no 'official' couchsurfing experience just yet. I want to get out there and meet loads of new people.
Interests
Writing is the obvious one. But I am the sort of person to take an interest in everything, particularly if someone is passionate in it and I can see the emotion behind it.
Meditation, yoga, cycling, rock climbing, football and most sports are a big interest for me.
Also love getting in the kitchen and see what I can conjure up.
Silly dancing and dressing up in crazy outfits is also a must

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a pretty eclectic music taste but my go to seems to be liquid/chillstep dnb mixes at the mo. Pure relaxation. Still my roots are in punk, rock, metal and ska which still flow through me. I love jazz, funk, dub and a little bit of everything.
Philosophical and political books hold a massive swing on me. My favourite reads have included The Alchemist, Aleph, 1984, My Family and Other Animals, The Prince and The Dark Trilogy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are loads really. However, the most amazing was to spend a year volunteering with the disaster response NGO All Hands Volunteers in the Philippines. It was an unforgettable experience.
Still the best moments are those spent with people, regardless of where you are!
Teach, Learn, Share
I will happily try my hand at anything and in turn be happy to show you odd skills such as shorthand (it looks nuts!), help with writing, photography, meditation.
Life is a constant quest to improve and I wish to be better at the all above skills, be bi-lingual and try out every experience life can throw at me.
