Hi, I'm Domingos, what means Sundays in portuguese, yeah weird name I know.
I love traveling, and recently I started to do it by myself so I can explore new places and learn from the locals at my own pace.
I grew up in a small city in Portugal, Vila Real. Then, went to another city, Braga, where I got my master degree in biomedical engineering from the Minho University. After that I moved, for work, to the capital of my country Lisbon where I live now, so I'm kinda used to move a bit :)
I like to read, binge-watching Netflix, do some exercise and play tabletop games, expecially Dungeons and Dragons.
Meeting new people is something I recently found to be one of the best things in life, and I'm hoping that couchsurfing helps me keep doing just that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduce to couchsurfing by some friends, and loved the ideia.
I think it's the best way to get to know the country/cities I am visiting because I get to see them through the locals eyes and not as a simple turist.
Also I think is a great way to meet new people and make some friends around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Is kinda hard to choose only one music, but I can list some favorite bands: Linkin Park, SOAD, Metallica, Five finger dead puch, Blossoms, Imagine Dragons, Artic Monkeys.
Books: any fantasy books gets my attention. Best series I've read: A Song of Ice and Fire, Assassin's Apprentice, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter.
