About Me
Hello world!
I make my living as an actor and singer, and occasional photographer, I grew up in Bristol in the UK but have lived in London for most of my life. My work has allowed me to travel a good deal including long stints touring to theatres all over Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America - to date I've performed in over 20 different countries, not including my own.
I'm an obsessive photographer, going well out of my way to get a shot of a great view or unexplored corner, as well as a voracious book reader (real paper, always, which is a bit awkward for travelling but I don't mind), cinema addict and happy traveller, alone or with friends. I love street art, dogs of all sizes, late night conversations and long rambling walks. I'm a quiet, clean, responsible person, respectful of other people, usually nose in a book or wandering streets, fields, woods and mountains with my camera.
My favourite cities include Berlin, New York, Verona, Prague, Krakow, Budapest, Lucerne, Tallinn and Edinburgh. My top travel experiences: feeding stingrays off Grand Cayman, floating in the Dead Sea, exploring the Giant's Causeway, trekking the Great Wall of China.
Places currently top of my list to visit: Barcelona, the Pyramids of Giza, St. Petersburg, Petra, Machu Picchu, Reykjavik, Japan.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've just finished a six month tour, and have decided to keep travelling on my own to see more of Europe, visit some countries and cities I've never seen, and apologize to as many Europeans as possible for my embarrassing country - Brexit actually breaks my heart. I'm hoping to surf some couches, get to know some brilliant people and really find out about different European cultures while exploring it's wonderful cities.
