ABOUT ME

I am a sincere, passionate, responsible, and fun-loving person with a passion for the environment, renewable energy, and making the world a better place. I'm easygoing and personable, and enjoy good conversation, music and exploring new places. I love going to concerts and music festivals and am pumped to be going to Coachella this year as a volunteer where I will be managing a recycling and environmental education program. I'm an environmental engineer who strives to go beyond the math and science and approach an issue from different perspectives, taking classes in public policy, economics, architecture, and behavior change as part of my studies at UC Berkeley in California. I think the more we interact and learn from people different from us, the more we have to gain as a society. I believe in the power of giving back to others and the importance of alleviating poverty in our world, and founded the Berkeley chapter of Engineers Without Borders as an undergrad, travelling to Peru twice to work on an arsenic alleviation project in the Lake Titicaca area, climbing Machu Picchu and making friends with alpacas in the meantime.
