Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling can be a lonely endeavor, but we're all in this together. Why not team up?
Interests
Hiking, backpacking, outdoorsy stuff like that. A little bit of meditation to keep the waters calm at night. I also read a nice bit, my favorite book being "The Count of Monte Cristo" and my favorite author being Dumas, the guy who wrote it and "The 3 Musketeers". The 's' in his name is silent, by the way...
I'm totally open to questions and suggestions for things to try. You'll find I enjoy a little adventure in every facet of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed an almost completely vertical mountainside somewhere in Colorado once. There was no path and no gear. I'd say I went about 8 stories up, scaling just next to a mid-sized waterfall. I stood at a plateau an outcropping formed about 3/4 of the way up, letting the icey current flow around and up to knees.
Another time, I kayaked to the middle of a manmade lake that had some very old tree trunks still standing from when there was land. I climed a foreboding tree, changed into a pinstipe tux, and got an awesome picture. My kayak was tugged off, so when one notices that I was completely dry in the photo they can't tell how I got there.
