About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Building up community wealth feels great! Honestly no one appreciates it that much unless their car breaks down and you give them a recycled bike to get to work.. but it's sustainable so it feels right.. like feeding a puppy or giving a gift to someone. Basically I build bikes for kids and homeless people and I'm learning about worker co-operatives. Innovating new ways to create wealth in our communities is my current obsession.
ABOUT ME
I student teach kids most days :) I help run the bike church (free community bike shed), giving free bikes to people getting out of jail and workers and hipsters, it's fun! Hosting couch surfers has become my favorite thing to do! :) Also, I love to garden and play video games. Going out to bars is funny. I'm very introverted but love to host events and teach.
I love turtles. I love bikes! I love forests.
PHILOSOPHY
seventy five percent is a perfect amount of effort to put into something. Like the great "Steve" says.. Hitler was pretty ambitious but don't we all just wish he'd have smoked a bowl and chilled out instead?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Housing is not a privilege, IT IS A RIGHT! Everyone deserves a safe-temperate place to sleep for free! I will change this world one couch surfer at a time because people deserve the right to experience this life instead of working it away through slavery to this civilization and it's endless "progress"! It's worth every minute of cleaning sheets and blankets to know that I'm subverting these inhuman ideals and trying to save the innocents they carelessly sacrifice! I first ran away from home and slept on a couch. Nine years later and I have my own bed, a beautiful fiance, and ten years worth of "higher" education!
Interests
Making sure poor people have food, community living, taking care of others, fixing bicycles, reading at the library, protecting the environment, educating about fixing bikes, eating ice cream, listening to punk, industrial music.
