Hello, I'm Dom. Currently wandering round the Far East / on a creative sabbatical in Taiwan.

I first came across couchsurfing in 2011 when I hitchhiked across Spain, Portugal and Morocco with my friend. We were hosted by some of the most wonderful people. Since then, I've surfed various couches in other parts of the world, and I hosted a bunch of people when I was living in Montpellier a few years ago.

I'm a former EFL teacher. Since the pandemic, I've taught less and less and now do odds and sods. I spend my time writing and making films. I love travelling and exploring new landscapes - I love the sea most of all.
I grew up in Totnes, near the coast in Southwest England.
