Lets start with a confession - reading and writing are not my strongest suites. I love the outdoors; I spearfish and freedive regularly. I studied outdoor recreation for three years. Qualified to teach primary and secondary. I love a huge range of activities; including but not limited to… Bush walking, kayaking (touring and white water), white water rafting, snowboarding and rock climbing. I love getting to know new people, (not that I ditch the old ones) and going out experiencing new things. A drink or two and life is good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To see each city I visit through the eyes of the local people so I get more than the average ”tourist" experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to Timor Leste to ”train the trainers”. It was a program to encourage kids to play organised sports and minimise the possibility for young people to join gangs.

I'm a teacher and have a passion for working with young people in the outdoors. I am a snorkel instructor and regularly teach people about the underwater environment in Victoria Australia. I am learning Spanish and have a basic level. Enough to survive if need be! But not yet conversational, always willing to learn more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you how to snorkel and some freediving techniques!! I’m polite, trustworthy and considerate of others. I am independent and you won't need to baby sit me while I stay. You don't have to spend all the time with me if you don't want to! But of course I would like to, if you have time :)
