Overview
About Me
Heyhey,
My name is Dominik and I am from a small village called Waggum. Its nearby Braunschweig in the north of Germany surrounded by Forests and Fields. Ive been living in Hannover for two years to study e-guitar at the MusicCollege. Afterwards I studied guitar at Rostock which is at the Baltic Sea. Currently I am studying guitar in Dresden, a historic city in the Saxony.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really like to travel and to learn other cultures and languages. I love music from other cultures because they create images of the mystical unknown. I think that the best way to learn this music is to travel there and to learn about the culture, the people, the architecture, the arts, the enviromente, the religion, the weather,...
The winter two years ago for example I have been at the Pays Basque in France to learn basque music and in Andalucia/Spain to learn Flamenco. Or I have been in Vienna to learn about classical music and Opera.
And I love Couchsurfing for the opertunity to get to know very interesting persons who are mostly open-minded and live their life.
I also like to host people and to show them the nice place where I live.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have specific favorite movies. It may be that I like dokus about history, nature and science the most.
I like books, which create a whole new world, so fantasy I guess. The book I learnd most from is the Bible and the Authors I have read a lot are Hermann Hesse, Goethe, Shakespeare, Karl May,...
I think I have told you enough about my musical inetrests and I don´t want to annoy you :-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Okay, what means amazing?
Maybe it was amazing to travel via hitchhiking to Granada without knowing where to sleep and getting in touch with so many warmhearted and lovable beings.
But I guess it´s more amazing, that I told my parents that I love them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you guitar (Rock, Pop, Flamenco, Latin, Classical, Blues, Jazz, Improvisation, Folkloristic, Fingerstyle, Tapping)
I have done Yoga, Qi Gong, Standard Dance, Contact Dance, Ballett and Capoeira but this is more something to share because I am not a professional concerning this :-)
What I really like is jamming with guitar and voice and rhythm with other people - just improvise and communicate in this special way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Dresden is a beautiful historic city, which I can show you. I´m living in the ``Neustadt´´, which is a very vivid part of the city. Here are many clubs, bars, theaters and concerts, to which I can take you. Everything I mentioned above I can share with you.
Countries I’ve Visited
