About Me

I‘m currently working as a software engineer in a small company in Dresden. On my vacations I like to take my van for a spin.

After I finished my bachelor I traveled for 7 months through New Zealand and South East Asia. I had my first couchsurfing experiences on that trip and I'm really passionated about it since.

I'm not a cliché nerd. I really love what I do, but Computer Science is just one of many interests. I took piano lessons for 8 years and later added drums to my musical interests. I did track and field for quite a long time. Now I like to go for a run or meet up with friends in the climbing gym. I'm always interested in learning new vegan recipes, especially when cooking for or with my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to get to know the culture of a country is to get in touch with locals. Couchsurfing is a great way to get to know people and find friends all around the globe.

Interests

I have wide spread interests. My professional interest is all about computer science, but my personal interests are more about music, sport and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

To relax I listen to a broad genre of music, but to go out and dance there is nothing better than Drum and Bass

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With 14 I lived for 3 months in Canada. I went there to school and stayed with a family I didn't know. I found a second home there.

Also diving through a shipwreck in Tulamben, Bali was pretty amazing.
