ABOUT ME

Hey guys, my name is Dominik, I'm 26 easy-going (and beer-loving) Czech who's currently living in NZ. I work as a Software Engineer.. but i do not consider myself as classic computer geek)... I like to spend time with my girlfriend and friends, i also like sports and of course i am addicted to travelling and meeting new awesome people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am trying to be nice and polite host and on the other hand I want me guests to enjoy staying with me and to fell like at home. I also like to spend some time with travelers to chat and learn about places they are from and they have been to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience with CS is just positive. I have already hosted bunch of people and I have surfed some couches but you just can't get enough.

Interests

Obviously I'm interested in travelling, meeting new people and learning about other cultures that's why we're all here, right? Other than that I also enjoy sports especially basketball, surfing and jogging.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't think I have such a thing as a favourite movie but I usually enjoy movies about travelling (Into the Wild, Kon Tiki, and so on) ! My favourite series is Family Guy.. you gotta love that family.

I do not have favourite writer either but I like work of Jack Kerouac, Jack London, Mario Puzo, and many others.

As for the music... let me check my most played songs. The XX, Kings of Leon, M83, The Naked and Famous, Awolnation... I also like hip-hop and rap music but I promise I won't play it if won't ask for it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job, sold things witch i couldn't fit in a suitcase, said "see ya later" to my family and friends, bought a ticket and set myself on the road...
