In this mad mad world people tend to use their tongues too much, and it leads to misunderstandings. We’ve got one mouth and two ears after all, let’s take it as a hint. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Here it comes. The total cliché. I've got two reasons- I simply love travelling and I simply love people with beautiful minds (which I've been meeting through my CS journey). I wanna travel the world- the non-existent list is starting from the over-crowded cities, living mostly at night, full of colorful lights and fascinating spots, packed up with individuals, and it's ending with the quiet, idyllic, peaceful places, untouched by human hand (I'm just like Hobbits, who loved everything what blooms and grows and and the Romantics, who believed that beauty was embedded in the nature).

Interests

I'm interested in widely (really widely) understood art. Why? Why not. Art has no boundaries, and the only limitation is the length of word or the paint brush stroke. There is a fine line between creativity and kitsch, and art includes them both. Painting and writing poetry are some of my beloved activities.

I am a pathetic film freak, a day without a movie is a day lost. I pop down the theater whenever I get a chance. I love to drown in foreign magical worlds. Recently discovered my musical skills as well, I’m trying to learn guitar, and most recently fool around with my hapi drum.

I am the aspiring creator of many kinds. The researcher of past, present and future. Of mind, soul, dreams, all sorts of inner treasures. Of the depth of myself and so called boundaries and limitations of human kind.

In terms of sports I’ve started appreciating yoga a lot. I’ve recently became a certified teacher completing my training in India. Besides that I’ve found a piece of myself lost deep in the water. Helps me get to know the world better.

I studied philosophy and cognitive science for some time, before ditching it to get some real life experience, not the one closed on pages of massive books. Now I’m back at school, finishing my Masters in Neuropsychology this year.

I try to mix the physical and the mystical, therefore I use my academic background to understand better the indigenous wisdom. I work with plants and carry out research on psychedelics and the path towards enlightenment (including very complex task of operationalization based on multiple various traditions as well as my own insights).

I hope that there will be more, and more, and more of these interests, since I seriously plan to try everything in my life (sic!).
