ABOUT ME
I'm fun, loud, and love to smile and laugh my heart out. I'm very caring, responsible, and put people first - hate the high-school-drama scene. A quote I live by every single day: "Be the change you wish to see in the world." -Mahatma Gandhi
PHILOSOPHY
Life can be so COLOURFUL - all you have to do is hold the paint brush.
"Be the change you wish to see in the world." -M. Gandhi
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Loving the fact that I get to meet so many diverse people through couchsurfing - definitely one of the best experiences of my life. :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
1. Lagoa, Portugal, with Ana Luisa Pereira - she was PHENOMENAL! My first CS host, and the most lovely, giving, happy individual I've met in a while. :)
2. Sole Aiman - Pisa, Italy. Originally from Bangladesh, and lives in Italy, in a BEAUTIFUL municipal park with horses! Went out for the most delicious pizza...wow. It was definitely a very enjoyable experience!
3. Erkan Surmeli - Florence, Italy. HILARIOUS! The craziest personal stories I've heard in a long time...amazing individual. Took my friend and I out for a mini tour, some lovely drinks and some awesome history. He has a Golden Retriever dog named Vodka that I fell in love with as soon as I laid eyes on him.
4. John Giannelis - Naples, Italy. Very interesting conversations, shared some good laughs, cooked a big dinner together, and he baked the most amazing apple crumble - DELICIOUS! Definitely a wonderful time. :)
Interests
I love the outdoors - anything from hiking, to skydiving (definitely an adrenaline junkie), to swimming all day. I love living an active lifestyle and having opportunities to travel around the world while getting my Business Degree. Cooking, baking, experiencing new cultures/languages, and trying new things whether I'm terrified or not, are also very high on my list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. I've bungee jumped in Canada twice now. Scariest, most horrid feeling of my life. I LOVED it. Addicting.
2. Skydived once - it was the most peaceful, life-connecting, and wild experience so far of my life...can't wait to do it again and again.
3. I stood on a huge rock at the top of Barcelona, Spain, for hours leading up to the most breath-taking sunset. The city was blanketed in warm orange and pink tones...wow.
