About Me

I am passionate about human minds. Getting to understand and know people is to me the core of my interest in psychology. This is why I travel, as it's my greatest hobby ;)

I study (Psychology and Cognitive Science faculties) and work in the beautiful city of Cracow, which - if you haven't been there already - I reccomend you to visit. You would fall in in love with it!

I also work as a research assistant in a Cracow' based start-up, creating reliable diagnostic tools for screening autism spectrum disorders hidden in educational games for kids (so it's more fun for kids as well). This is really cool thing! :)

I am keen on meeting new people and new places. Probably I'd be one of those "talkative" guests ;) I am not really a party seeker, though. Reported to be rather quiet and nondisturbing flatmate ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for destinations to travel to and for people to get to know. I am conducting a cross-cultural, interdisciplinary research on differences in narrations in European nations as a part of my studies curriculum. This year I will be concerned with nordic countries - I couldn't be more excited about this!

I could travel and sleep in low-budget hostels, but it's just an accomodation, not exactly what I am looking for. I want to talk to people and get to know their point of view on life, day-to day issues, their attitudes and emotions. That's why couchsurfing seems to be a better option.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I managed to survive on myself in London, where I went just after my high school graduation. With only 40 pounds in my pocket I survived for a week and I didn't give up on trying to settle there. What I thought to be my worst mistake turned out into the prettiest adventure of a lifetime. Eventually I got a job, rented a flat, met lots of lovely people of all different cultures and backgrounds. This was the moment I decided to do Psychology on University. I just apreciated and affirmated the kindness and diversity of people I've met on my path.
