ABOUT ME

30 years old guy from Poland. I love mountains, climbing and travelling. I'm a member of GOPR (Volunteer Mountain Rescue Service) and Polish National Alpine Team.
I've travelled a lot (over 40 countries), and lived in Norway, Slovenia, USA.
After unsuccessful try in science (I've quitted PhD in the USA) I'm building my career in the Energy industry now. But as I'm not giving up that easily, I've started a PhD in Earth Sciences again, this time combing it with a regular job.

I'm fully vaccinated.

PHILOSOPHY

To take from life as much as you can, but in a good way. I stopped drinking alcohol, I don't smoke.

I can host you if you came to Bielsko-Biala, my apartment is not big, but there's always space for a traveler. I'm more than happy to share experiences, have a beer / training / language exchange together.

Couch in Norway, Santiago de Chile, Prague, Kyrgyzstan, Israel, Iran, Jordan, Mexico, Guatemala, and USA. It was fantastic!

Interests

Mountains, most of all. I love the silence and wild nature which I can find there. Hikes, ski touring and climbing could be all my life :D. Traveling is my other passion. I love exploring new places, meeting new people etc. I also like books, movies, and music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes, yes, yes... Most of all I like fantasy books like: The Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin, Wiedzmin by Sapkowski and many others. I enjoy all kinds of music, but it has to be a good music :D, the same with films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many dreams came true in my life, and there are so many which will come true in the future, so it is difficult to write about only one thing... One of my best thing was trip to South America, which was the best journey in my life and the most amazing thing I've done during this trip was climbing Nevado Sajama - the highest peak in Bolivia - 6542m.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you quite a lot about mountains, equipment, skiing, climbing, etc. I have quite good experience in it. My native language and culture is another thing which I can tell you about.

I can also share about my studies - glaciology and experience while working for the Energy industry.

I would like to learn something about foreign culture, language, people, and skills which I don't know. Furthermore, I am open to almost everything, but a nice hike in a foreign country will be a great experience for me!
