About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Solving macro-economic problems while creating opportunities through language.

ABOUT ME

extroverted, harmonic, athletic, good listener, even better storyteller

PHILOSOPHY
Here's a few phrases I live by:

If it was easy, anybody could do it.

The things that scare you the most are the things you need to do the most.

If you want to live an extraordinary life, you've gotta do extraordinary things.

How you do anything is how you do everything.

It doesn't need to be perfect, it just needs to be functional.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a frequent traveler, I love immersing myself into different cultures. And if I cannot do that myself, I'll have to cultures come to my place. Getting to know people who think differently broadens the horizon and sharpens social skills - things that are truly important to me.

Interests

Lacrosse, Guitar, any sort of entrepreneurial endeavour, blogging, traveling. That's the short version. However as a rather extroverted person, I absolutely love meeting new people as well as staying in touch with old friends -- and if that includes a few drinks, even better!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: Metalcore, Dubstep, DnB, Nu Metal, Country

BOOKS: everything written by Tim Ferriss; "The Magic of Thinking Big"; most novels by Michael Crichton; Malcolm Gladwell's "Tipping Point"; "Predictably Irrational" by Dan Ariely; "Extreme Ownership" by Jocko Willink; "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the course of the project I've worked with, I provided an elderly man (roughly 70 years old) with glasses, the first ones of his life. He was able to see clearly for the first time ever. His reaction was incredible. Quite amazing, and honestly life-changing experience.

I've also almost gotten shot in the Dominican Republic, saw the Northern Lights in Riga, worked in a homeless shelter in São Paulo, and done 1000 pushups in one sitting. All those were pretty cool (or, say, life-changing) too.

Teach, Learn, Share

Set your goals high, then overachieve them. Willing to learn what it takes? I'll try my best to give you some techniques.

Same goes for productivity hacks, fitness & nutrition input and anything else - I like to read stuff and sometimes I don't forget it right away.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Insights from a fairly young man who has already seen plenty of things. I'm down for: fun stories, deep philosophical discussions, nights out, jam sessions, crazy workouts, you name it!
