About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Working on my thesis in India and Sri Lanka about an environmental topic in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region

ABOUT ME

I like to call the world my home. Learning more about this fascinating blue planet and its diversity is the center of my life for many years already. I was living in Mumbai, India for one year now and even though I have to go back to Austria soon, I am already thinking of the next step. It is something really beautiful to extend the perspective by traveling to places and spending precious time with people from all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Finding a way to contribute something to the world that helps create a future worth living...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to learn about people, having long talks, cooking together, eating and drinking together, going out and party. I also love to help out with things in the house or whatever is needed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far only at friends and family...but that was always something really nice

Interests

As much as I love quiet days or evenings, as much I love if days or moments unfold totally unexpected and reveal some craziness that was hidden before. Everything can be interesting as long I like it ;)

  • cooking
  • partying
  • drinking
  • traveling

Music, Movies, and Books

Radiohead, Apparat, Moderat, Andrew Bird, Anoushka & Ravi Shankar, Coco Rosie, Massive Attack, Nick Cave, Portishead, Trentemöller and many others.

Scandinavian Crime Movies, Science Fiction, Werner Herzog and lots of stuff that is told in a slow way. The focus on a brilliant story and not so much on effects and action but I also like the Bollywood kitsch from time to time.

All kinds of books that help me understand more about me and the world

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was living for 4 months in a mining town called Useless Loop in Western Australia. Was part of a dolphin research team and saw hundreds of them. Swimming in a bay where big Tiger Sharks are seen frequently was also kind of exciting I'd say.
