About Me

After several month of traveling, I found a new home and occupation in Regensburg and so far I love everything about it! I might not be the best city guide so far and I still tend to get lost in the little streets of the old town, but it´s a good way of discovering new places ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, I like to experience the daily live and little hidden trasures next to the tourist walks. So, couchsurfing is a wonderful way of meeting local people, of learning about individual favourite things about a city and spending a much more enriching time at a place.

Interests

I love sports – especially everything outside in nature (e.g. running, trekking, cycling, swimming, climbing, dancing). Maybe you want to join me on my morning run followed by a little jump in any river or lake nearby.

I am an enthusiastic reader, particularly of comics and graphic novels and drawing one day my own comic-book is still on my bucket list ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Where to start?! I teach German literature and physics...so I read quite a lot for work and pleasure...what, that you will have to ask me yourself :)

As long as I can dance to it, all styles of music please me...but never ask me for the name of songs or singers, somehow they don't stick to my memory.

Watching a film with me, might get annoying...I tend to get passionately lost in the story and express my emotions and comments loudly, and you'll find me await violent scenes under the blanket...but for sure I love a great movie-night!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking a 4°C warm bath in the Loch Ness in Scotland - unfortunately without Nessie.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to see beauty in the most ordinary things.

I tend to learn something new every day.

And I love to share my passion for youth and education.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My vegetarian and vegan kitchen skills and contagious good humour (even early in the morning).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bolivia, Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom
