About Me

Hello, my name is Dom. I grew up in the USA. I worked as a software engineer for six years but after a few years on the job, I didn’t feel fulfilled and saw my life flashing before my eyes. My standard vacation time allowed me to travel the world, where I was bitten by the infamous travel bug back in 2014 while wandering around Peru. So in 2018, I decided enough was enough, I quit my job, sold my condo, gave away my possessions and bought a one way ticket to Nepal. The classical millennial melodrama :) I have visited 32 countries and 5 Wonders of the World. As of late, I’m beginning to realize and embrace the benefits of slow travel. I am a solo traveler but I fancy meeting locals, fellow travelers and interacting with new cultures and indulging in traditional cuisine along my journeys. I do not know what life holds for me but I will take this journey one day at a time. I believe everything happens for a reason and am on the journey to self mastery. I enjoy reading, finance, technology, history, photography and creating travel videos. I am not a big partier and prefer a quiet coffee shop over a bar. Many people back home, say I am an old soul living in a young man’s body, which I cannot deny as I usually ebb and flow with the sun. I have been a vegan for seven plus years and am always curious to find a delicious plant based restaurants, if you know any please share :) As of January 2019, I am living in Armenia for a few months before heading to Italy for a wedding in May.
