Hi ! My name is Dominique and i am a 22 year old Female. I was born in Zambia , Lusaka but went to boarding school and university in Cape town, South Africa. 8 years ago my parents moved to Zanzibar to start building a small luxury hotel. So in-between my studies i would venture to visit them. I have now recently finished my undergraduate degree in Psychology and would like to start my new adventures and travels this Year ! I will be travelling this year with my long term boyfriend of 4 years ( he is great) !. We are a very fun and friendly couple who love meeting new people and are ready to experience what the world has to offer :D .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend and i decided to join Couch surfing for many reasons ! We are planning on backpacking on a very low budget so that is one reason. We also LOVE meeting new people and feel that through couch surfing we will be able to meet amazing people from all over the world :D . Gavin and i are starting our travels at the begining of April. We will be first doing the East. We will be travelling Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal, and india for the first 4 months. We will then make our way to Europe in August ( Berlin, Amsterdam, Spain).After our year of travels i would also love to return the favor and have people i have met and host me come and stay in zanzibar aswell!

Interests

My interests are reading, Meeting people and socializing, travelling ( ofcourse) , horse riding, surfing, hiking and exploring, and Nature .

Gavins interests are mountain biking, cars, meeting new people, stand up paddle boarding, hiking and food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gavin and i were both volunteers for one year at the South African Riding for disabled association in Cape town. it was an amazing experience being able to see the progress of mentally and physically disabled children through the use of Horse riding.
