About Me

born in Detroit, USA. Moved to Paris in 2013. Studying Finance and Political Philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Wanderlust. I'm not sure if it's because I've moved around a lot, maybe it's that I haven't moved around enough, but I've always had an urge to see a new place and to get lost in a wonderful city. I consider myself a very open minded person, meaning that I am open to understanding and learning about new things (of course there are limits). I think couch surfing has the ability to provide unique connections and interactions. I have friends all over the world and I would love to continue growing in that area. So this is me being proactive.

I have hosted once before as well and met some of the coolest people ever and I really enjoyed the conversations that I had with them. Couchsurfing definitely enables another level of inaction with other people that is really unique. Okay okay, I know that I sound corny, but, I had an really cool time. So it inspired me to try as well.

Interests

are growing everyday. I really like wandering cities when I travel, don't get me wrong the museum's are nice as well. But I love walking the whole entire city, going into random shops and cafes that weren't picked out for tourists, and talking to other people (traveler's or locals).

Music, Movies, and Books

I am really passionate about music. I play a bit of the guitar and occasional singing in inevitable. I'm into all types of music. Musicians that I love are Frank Ocean, Pink Floyd, Banks, FKA Twigs, SZA, Kendrick Lamar, Bon Iver, etc.
Favorite Movie is hard to say.
Favorite book is One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taken a risk in moving from the United States at the age of 18 to France, without having ever been or even have spoken the language. I have learned a lot and loved (close to) every minute of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I'm still in the learning process...
