Hi Couchsurfing Community,

After years of hearing amazing stories about the couchsurfing community from fellow travellers I have decided to sign up. I will be travelling for between 2-6 months this year and hope to use this site to meet up with locals in the various cities I will be visiting. I hope this community will help me get deeper into the local cultures of the countries I will be visiting and make new friends around the world.

A brief background on me. I've travelled extensively, especially over the past 7 years. I've worked and lived in across 5 cities over the past 6 years in Australia, United States and America. I've made some amazing friends throughout my travels, had incredible adventures and hope to use this site to continue the good times.

Would be great to hear any advice experienced users of couchsurfing have for someone new to the site and I look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible during my travels.
