Live my life in an adventurous way. See the world and get knowledge of different cultures. Beside that, I always try to share some of my culture with local people I meet. I love getting to know new people and you by letting them lead toward the unknown . I assume that " the locals" know best where the most beautiful places of the city are . That way, I ended up on super beautiful locations.

ABOUT ME

How I already discovered the world:

I 'm a young guy who loves adventure .I've travelled a lot of European countries already. I've hitchhiked from Antwerp to Budapest, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Milan... This adventureous trips brought me a lot of expierience of different cultures. In 2015 I decided to explore the rest of the world beyond the boarders Europe. First I travelled 3 months to Colombia which is for me "an undiscovered diamond of a country". The country and there population is so pure and hospitable! People in Europe (inlcuding myself before I went there) are very skeptic about Colombia. It's unsafe to travel. there is a drugswar,.... etc. Anyhow, I've had the time of my life over there and I love the hospitality of the people living there.
During my travel I met a lot of other travellers who helped me with developing my new travel plans. I wanted to discover a new rough diamond with same hospitable people. But I wanted to see some of a different culture. So Iran popped up. A lot of travellers recommended to travel Iran. And yes, it was splendid! A met a lot of really nice people there who wanted to learn more of our Western culture. In return they invited me to the most epic underground parties. I met up with locals who counldnt speak a word English but they gave me for free dinner and a bed to sleep without asking. Also this travel was a big eye opener for me.
I haven't got enough of the middle east. Next plan is to travel Oman in november. I'm looking foreward to discover there ruins of empire, cities of glass and steel, the desert breeze and the hounting call to prayer or having a coffee with strangers...

I'm also a big music fan . I love a lot of different styles . I visited years ( and still ) festivals looking for new talents in the music world. The best concert I've ever seen is : The Plastic Beach tour of The Gorillaz + De La Soul .

I am also a very sportive person. I have run the Paris marathon in 2011. I play indoor soccer and outdoor soccer . Before that I played 12 years of table tennis . I 'm someone who has a lot of energy and I need to find a way to lose this energy .
Finally, I am very socially constructed . As I mentioned earlier, I love to meet other people. I 'm easy going and have a very open personality . I look forward getting to know many people on CouchSurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in an adventurous way by going with the flow. I'm an optimist. Everything we encounter along the way, good or bad news, can be solved.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First and foremost I want to share my travel experiences and my culture with other people. I want to explore couchsurfing by making a trip myself but also by hosting other people in Antwerp.
On the other side I want to host people in my own cozy flat and I want to show this person the most beautiful places in Antwerp.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have invited a handfull of travellers around the world in my flat. Also I was lucky to couchsurf in Colombia and in Iran! Until now it were only positive experiences!
