We sold our house and are embarking on a 1 year backpacking & worldschooling trip around the world with our 11 year old son.

ABOUT ME

We're a positive, dynamic and open-minded french-canadian couple from Quebec who love to travel and have a good time. We're curious, love to socialize, and enjoy exploring new places. We have added a 3rd member to our family, Nathaniel Leclerc (born july 2, 2012). This is our biggest challenge/adventure yet, and it has been our most rewarding.

We really love the whole couchsurfing experience. From hosting to surfing, it's all good. Meeting great people from everywhere.

We love the outdoors, hiking/trekking, camping, fishing, snowshoeing, brazilian jiu-jitsu, etc. We like to read, listen to music, play board games and spend time cooking.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Dom reads books on history/anthropology/politics/philosophy/self development/etc. Audrey enjoys fiction novels of all kinds. As for music we listen to pretty much anything.

We love TV series, some of our favorites are Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Rome, etc.

As for music we enjoy pretty much everything, especially live music!

-Watching the sun rise over Machu Pichu
-Diving in the red sea, exploring the wreck of HMS Thistlegorm
-4 day tour through Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia
-Forbidden City, Beijing.
-Dragon's backbone rice terraces in China
-Tibet as a whole is quite mind-blowing
-Varanasi, India.
-Travel as a family

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Dom is a BJJ brown belt and loves mixed martial arts and so he can teach you some self-defense & submissions or even take you down to the local BJJ club for a workout.

Audrey enjoys picking mushrooms and other wild edible goodies.

Nathaniel is a wonderful boy who's optimism and energy is very contagious :)

As for learning, we're open to anything! We love when someone has the time to share his passion with us.
