About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm 27, work as an analyst for British Airway's data science team. Love a bit of maths/science to always up for a nerdy chat. Everything else you can read about below...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm travelling I would like to couchsurf in some places, mainly big cities, as I think this is a good way to get to know a place and its people. When I move into my own place back in London I would be keen to host people and showing them the city if they're interested.

Interests

Reading, bouldering, playing instruments, chess, going to the pub...all the usual really.

  • drinking
  • chess
  • reading
  • traveling
  • guitar
  • hiking
  • soccer
  • climbing
  • math

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Classic older music - Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Bob Dylan etcetc, as well as newer trip-hop/electronic stuff - Bonobo, Massive Attack, Four Tet, Jon Hopkins and some chilled classical music

Books: Classic dystopian novels such as 1984 and brave new world, comedies such as Carl Hiasen books, as well as general history/pop science books. And Game of Thrones, always Game of Thrones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to name really...hiking volcanoes in Central America, getting my open water in Utila, hiking down into Colca Canyon in Peru..

Teach, Learn, Share

Can have a jam with someone if they have a guitar/ukulele. Always down for a game of chess or backgammon too (and happy to teach anyone keen).

If anyone is interested in learning to climb I am always happy to introduce someone to it.

Happy to practise English with anyone who is interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully some good conversation, maybe a meal or two (at a restaurant, or I can cook myself) and a good excuse to go out for a drink...always down for hiking if a host is looking for someone to go with.

Also anything around the teach learn share section if someone has a particular interest in learning any of those things.
