ABOUT ME

I like butterfly pressing and stamp collecting.... well, not exactly. I'd like to fight Chuck Palahniuk, hug Bindy Irwin (Steve Irwins daughter), drink with Jack Sparrow, jam with Eddie Vedder, kick a football (soccerball) with Harry Kewell, travel with Ewan McGregor and have a long lunch with Michael Palin....as long as the bill isn't too expensive :o)
I always suck at self analysis and like people to make up their own minds. I'm 4 foot nothing, with dredlocks down to my knees....no, not true...there I go off on another tangent! Here's the true part:
Music is a very big part of my life, and always will be. I miss my guitar back in Oz. The natural world amazes me and I love learning how it works. Geez...I think I need to build up a friends list so others have something proper to say!

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophies, for me, change as I grow older and hopefully wiser. So what I think today could change tomorrow.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't really participated as this is all new to me! But there's always a beginning.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm an 'official' couchsurfing virgin, with relation to this community anyways. But I've stayed on many a couches in my time, some comfy, some smelly, and some that don't even deserve the name couch! Floors have also been my pillow (i.e not too fussy). Through direct friends, and friends of friends of friends, I've woken up in amazing places (Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Edinburgh, Ljubljana), had fantastic people to hang, see sights and drinks with....the amount of consumption depends on the person :o) Couchsurfing for me is the next step and addition in what I already see as great times.

Our world: ....but us small people live in a big place!
Friends: .....with too many cool people to meet.

Music: All the bands (friends) in the Melbourne rock scene... metal, hardcore, indie, dance, pop, grooves etc etc etc...Deftones, The Beatles, Biffy Clyro, Oceansize, Josh Pyke, Elliot Smith, Pearl Jam, Igor Stravinsky, Killswitch Engage, Fugazi...very diverse indeed.
Movies: Indiana Jones, Donnie Darko, Garden State, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Fight Club....again, I could go on for ages.
Books: Life of Pi by Yann Martel, Boyhood Childhood Youth by L.N Tolstoy, Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk

Could teach you a thing or two about Science stuff, or what I like most....introduce you to all kinds of new music! And I'd love for you to do the same! The absolute excitement I get from discovering new music or bands!
I really should learn to cook more, and am keen to learn salsa, samba, swing or any kind of dancing that gets the blood going!
