About Me

CURRENT MISSION

No mission, just a sweet journey through more adventurous life experiences.

ABOUT ME

Very laid back and easy to get along with. Good listener, friendly, caring, supportive, funny with good sense of humor. Helps others often.

PHILOSOPHY

If you help enough people get what they need and want, you will benefit in the same way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I show up and do what I say. I smile, laugh and love life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only experience has been through meeting 3 couchsurfers that I hike with. They recommended I sign up. Here I am.

Interests

The outdoors has grabbed and pulled me in many directions to a variety of places. The endless scenic opportunites compel me to travel. Hiking has changed my life so wonderfully. I have made so many new friends in the last few years doing so. That is how I learned of Couchsurfing. Yoga is another newer passion. I love meeting new people and learning about them and their interests. Daily excercise is somewhat of an obsession for me. It allows me to eat the way I like. I enjoy golf as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music of almost any style (sans heavy metal and rap)is important to me. Remember, I live 15 minutes from Red Rocks Ampitheatre, arguably the best outdoor venue in America. Movie and book titles are too long to list. Almost anything involving adventure is interesting to me. John Grisham is a favorite fiction author. If I wasn't outdoors so much, I would watch far too many movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Looking up 5000 feet from the Colorado River to the rim of the Grand Canyon on a long river raft trip.

Looking up at Mt. Kilimanjaro at 19, 430 knowing I would be standing there in 5 days.

Seeing Pebble Beach and the Monterey Peninsula for the first time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can contribute from 30 years in the business world by helping others with financial and career skills. I enjoy doing it. Learning to truly listen to others is a skill that I teach.

Countries I’ve Visited

Aruba, Bahamas, Canada, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Tanzania, United States
