Hello everyone,

I am Barig, 25 years old and live in Hamburg, Germany. Currently I stay in Indonesia till the 16th July.
My exchange semester in Bali, which I finished in May was the reason to fly to this amazing country in south east Asia. I am totally into the “Bali way of life” and would like to stay for a longer period.
Now I am discovering the culture, people, flora & fauna and jump from one Island to another.

About my background:
I would like to mention, that I was born in Prague, Czech Republic, raised up in Bavaria, which is in the south of Germany. My roots are from Afghanistan. Since 2002 I live in Hamburg. I am the multiculturalism in person.

As you can take from my previous sentences, I love and faced very early to travel and meeting new people. I would describe myself as an open minded and down to earth person. I am communicative but I also like to enjoy the time being just for myself. If your into astrology I want to mention that my star sign is lion. So if I want something, I give all my energy and possibilities to reach my goal and don´t give up easily.

My life goal is to work as an “MacBook Nomad”. That means nothing more than to travel and earn money at the same time just with my laptop. For the beginning I am planning to run a Website, about all my travel experiences. I hope you will be a part of that.

If I will be on the way to my home, the journey don´t end, it will be just interrupt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to meet new people during my journey. Living in an authentic accommodation, getting local travel tips and sharing new experiences is one of main reason for signing up into this website.

Interests

I am into all kind of photography, making videos and share them with my friends. I have a Drone and like to make footage videos.
Music is my constant companion. My favorite genre is RnB, Hip Hop and nice Electronic sounds. But also at this point I am open to something new. I love to cook and I like to go out in bars or clubs with my friends.

Another interested of myself is all kind of water activities like snorkeling, diving or swimming. In Indonesia I discovered my love for the underwaterworld.
On the top of my bucket list is Raja Ampat with the fascinating fishes and corals.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I mentioned before, I am very open to all kind of genres.
On my travel, I like to hear soul music and electronic music.

I love all kinds of movies. I am in absolutely Harry Potter fan. Especially I like dramas, thriller and action-movies. The last movie I have seen the movie "Lion". It is about an Indian guy, which is searching for his mother. You have to watch it, if you haven't seen it.

I like also just explore some new serials on netflix.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some weeks ago, I meet some amazing people on the tour trip to the Komodo Islands, which started in Labuan Baja, Flores. We never meet before, we had an unforgettable trip together and became friends in a short period.
