Overview
About Me
Easy-going guy who likes to travel and meet new people. I'm a retired Navy submariner, and now work as an accountant down here in Florida. I was born in Oregon but mostly raised in southeastern Connecticut, with brief stints in central Oregon and southwest Missouri. I've lived here in St Pete for about 11 years now and love it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because I enjoy people from all walks of life, and love to learn from others who may come from different lifestyles or cultures. I also like to travel on a shoestring, and hope to eventually be hosted by another CSer on a future trip. In the meantime, I have a spare bedroom and it's usually available when I'm not traveling myself or hosting family & friends.
Interests
I have a private pilot's license and ocassionally do some recreational flying.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like mostly anything from the rock, country, R&B genres, including oldies from the 60s to the 90s.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went hot air ballooning during the early morning mass ascension at the 2015 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta - an experience I will never forget!
Teach, Learn, Share
My friendship, time, and tour guide skills - as both of our schedules allow.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Your own comfortable bed in my guest room, your own bath. Please keep in mind that I generally only accept traveler requests for 1 or 2 night stays, as longer stays can easily become disruptive to my work schedule.
