I am Yurany, but I prefer to be called Dona, I am an economist, I am 33 years old, and I am from Bogotá, Colombia, I am open-minded, social and meet new people. Traveling is my passion and I have lived in 3 different countries (Colombia, New Zealand and Peru), I love getting to know new cultures and this is the reason why I don't like to do conventional tourism, I like to be in the same place on time Let me know the normal day of local people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in Couchsurfing because my plan now knows some countries in Europe, to be honest, I will travel to the Netherlands, Germany and Austria and stay there for about a month in each country. Now I have been accepted in different hostels but I need one or two nights between changing cities and countries. I am an orderly and organized person.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost all kinds of music (except rap). I like to listen from black metal and Latin music, I really love to walk around the cities and try different experiences such as food, culture, some drinks, etc. My favorite writer is Haruki Murakami, I enjoy reading different types of books, History, Crime and universal literature. I like sports but I'm not good at them, so I prefer to run and walk or support my favorite team on TV with some beers and snacks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in New Zealand for about 10 months, I was there to learn English, it was an incredible experience, I met different people from many nations of the world, I had to work on things I never imagined I could do. . I think that the experience changed my mind and my lifestyle, now that I am freer and I learned that I can do everything I propose.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish of course, and I can share with my host some delicious Colombian food like arepas, cakes, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my happiness, some funny stories and others not so much, we can dance (but I'm a bad Latin girl, I think I'm not very good, but of course we can try).
