Hello everyone. I am Dona from Albania, owning a campsite in beautiful Permet. It is the same region as Gjirokaster but Gjirokaster is an hour away from here so don't get confused. I have grown up and worked here around Permet all my life and am very happy to host people from around the world if you have your own camping gear. It is a basic camp in a very beautiful natural area, surrounded by mountains and right by the amazing wild river Vjosa. The last one in Europe, recently declared national park. Especially in summer time in can get quite busy as many people also join us for our famous rafting tours. If you have more time to spend I will also be happy about a helping hand every now and then to do some basic works or registration of new campers. I'm looking forward to welcoming you here soon. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I am so lucky to have a big camping space where people from all over the world can find a safe space to stay, meet fellow travelers and enjoy the beautiful nature of Albania all around and I hope to share it with more people who appreciate nature and living together peacefully as much as I do.
