About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience and learn all that I possibly can.

ABOUT ME

I'm intelligent, friendly, fun, athletic, liberal, generous, honest, and open-minded. I love music, sports, writing, the outdoors, and travelling around meeting new people. I live to play footbag (hacky-sack), its the greatest sport ever invented. I am well read, I have travelled extensively, and learned a lot in my 32 years on this planet. I am pretty laid-back and easy going but I do know how to have a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the only way to fully experience life is through interaction with the other people I share this world with. There is just too much to see, do, and learn for one lifetime, so I believe that it is important to learn and grow from other people's experiences as well as to share my own knowledge and experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not participated in the CS Project as of yet but I am hoping that it will be a good way to meet some interesting people and share some of my knowledge and experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favorite couchsurfing experience would have to be the time I spent on my friend's couch in Lucerne, Switzerland. It was at an incredible house right on the lake in the middle of summer. I met the greatest people and had some wonderful experiences.

Interests

Footbag, music, modern art, camping, travel, writing, meeting new people, learning new things, basketball, surfing, hiking, reading, collecting maps, exploring cities, and many, many more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Far too many to list but I will note just a few of my favorites: Paul van Dyk, Modest Mouse, Bela Fleck, John Digweed, Built to Spill.
The Boondock Saints, Lost Highway, Waking Life, American Beauty.
A Winter's Tale, War and Peace, Cat's Cradle

Teach, Learn, Share

The thing I believe I could teach best would probably be footbag. Footbag not only improves coordination and other athletic skills, it also encourages cooperation and social interaction.
