Hello everyone! My name is Dónal. I am Irish but living in Budapest, Hungary for 1 year to on an exchange. Well I guess I should tell you a little about myself. I grew up on a farm and have a love for all things and people who are naturally themselves and are not afraid to engage in conversation about anything!

I have travelled together and solo to 13 countries thus far, and counting. Any chance i get I am on a plane somewhere special. Every place is special, irrespective of its population or culture. That's why i am open to exploring your town or city in exchange for the 'craic' (Irish slang for general shenanigans+!) and hopefully to build up new relationships with open- minded folk.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I needed a place to stay in Edinburgh in August 2015 and didn't want to stay in a hotel or a hostel - not only for the various price reasons but because they feel I personal - like we are only the fly on the wall of the city. We wanted immerse ourselves into the city as much as possible and then we met Jodi who hosted us for 2 nights in the city centre of Edinburgh! Talk about hospitality! We didn't even leave her flat the first night because we had such a laugh talking to her over a bottle of Red and exchanging embarrassing and interesting stories! It was a great experience and we hope to do it again some day!

Gardening- I have a small greenhouse that I take with me when moving to different places for college. Herbs and veggies is what I usually attempt to grow

Exploring- I love getting lost, not having a plan a just letting chance guide my direction
