Hey!

I’m from Pennsylvania and am a student at Washington and Lee University. I've spent much time on the road during the past 5 years: I've had summer internships in both South Africa and Singapore, I have a part time job which allows me to travel the country, and I'm always in search of fun new adventures which will allow me to meet great people.

This summer I have a hospitality internship in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I'll be making it a road trip both on my way there (in May) and back (in August)! I look forward to connecting with fellow Couchsurfers along the way and seeing some amazing places across the country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m used to traveling solo, so I've used Couchsurfing as a means to make some new friends around the world and to hopefully travel on a budget when there are people gracious enough to host me!

Music, Movies, and Books

For music I'm a fan of pop, dance/club music (especially Avicii), and your classic top hits. On TV, you'll find me binge watching anything to make me laugh, but especially comedy specials.

Fun fact: I was the show director of a $1 million live-event production which featured Trevor Noah as one of the premier speakers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent my first two summers of college interning and exploring new parts of the world!

After my freshman year I spent 8-weeks in South Africa where I enjoyed unique cultural experiences, went to countless wine tastings, and even went shark cage diving! After my sophomore year, I interned at a 5-star hotel in Singapore, and my travels throughout the region included stops in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Thailand, and Japan.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share countless stories from my journeys in South Africa and Southeast Asia, as well as some of my experiences leading one of the largest high school student leadership organizations in the country. I actually teach leadership development skills in my spare time, should you be interested ;)
