Seperated for 6 years after 25 year marrage, 3 adult children,2 in Melbourne,1 in Canberra.
I live in comfortable 3b/r. home overlooking small township 40 km's from Launceston. I moved from Sydney in Sept. 2017 and love it.
I retired in April 2017 and am involving myself in voulentary community groups.
I have travelled some, visiting about 24 countries so far some a couple of times, ( China, Croatia, Hungary,
Iran,Peru,Chile, Turkey,Italy, most of Malay peninsular ,India and off to Japan next week.)
I read page turner novels ,( J. Forsyth, M. Connelly, L. Childs,etc.) am interested (not involved)in polotics, gardening, antiques and collecables .
I try to be tolerant and interestered of others and thier views.
I am near illiterate as regards computers.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I gave a lift to a couch surfer from Japan and met her host's who are very active in Hobart, had not heard of this before, if I decide to accept visitors(pretty likley) then I expect that I may use contacts during further trips.
The idea appeals to me as a way of meeting people here and there.

Music, very eclectic, listen to a lot of blues and jazz, 60's thru 80's rock and r'n'b. Not so much rap or "new" soul music(as opposed to Aretha "et all").
Movies,not really don't like sitting in theatres so I catchup on long haul flights .
Live theatre love drama (not musicals) ,but have not been for years.
