ABOUT ME

We are full for the summer with future couchsurfers. We will not be able to host any more at this time. I will open up as soon as things calm down.

We are a pretty low key couple with an 18 month old. We love to travel, scuba dive, hang out on the beach, go to bars, and take pictures. Donovan's favorite hobby is computers and Melanie loves anything arts and crafts. She loves to knit scarves, make quilts, do her nails. She also loves the beach. We both LOVE Okinawa and want to share it with the world. Its one of the prettiest countries we've been to so far.
We used to do Couch Surfing all the time but haven't in a few years because of the new addition to our family. For the summer, we will open our home again.

PHILOSOPHY

I have two favorite sayings,

"If only closed minds came with closed mouths"

and

"Il dolce far niente" which translates to "the sweetness of doing nothing"
Sometimes I enjoy just sitting along the water line watching the waves come in or watching the sun go down. I try to enjoy the small things in life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We want to open our couch to others and hopefully in the future stay with other people when we travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are brand new to couchsurfing.com but not the the concept. When we lived in Naples, Italy we would actually meet people around Italy and open up our home to them so they could see Naples. We have met people from all over the world.
Also, our really good friends have used this site for years now and got us hooked on the idea. We hung out with multiple people they met through here and really enjoyed it.
