ABOUT ME

I'm a mother of a girl of 15, me my husband and daughter love travelling. I'm passionate for Brazil, and my husband has lived abroad for years in Jordan and Somalia. I used to travel around more when I was a student and I'd love to catch up with it. I love meeting new people and speaking English and Portuguese and Spanish. About Portuguese, I consider it almost as my own language. I like going out, dancing, hanging out and visit new places. Running is my passion but cannot run for the moment.
Important: I cannot host at the moment but we could meet up and I can show you around.
PHILOSOPHY

I feel that you don't ever know enough about places and people.People keep surprising me all the time, and I've got a lot of surprises from myself, too. We take a little piece of every person and place we get to know, and by meetig people we find out more about ourselves.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined the Community because I'd like to travel around with somebody who is from the place and, when possible I'd do the same and host people, and also go out for a caffe, and like showing people around

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the moment I'm not hosting and I'd been blessed with receiving all kinds of lovely people but recently moved to a smaller flat and changed all my life so we have less space.

Reading, Tv dramas like Grey's Anathomy and MAD MEN, Classical Art and some Modern Art,indoor gym, sailing, dancing, expecially salsa &samba; latin music, brazilian music, hanging out, gigs, travelling of course!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

The cascades in Venezuela, Canaima that you can walk through, you keep your breath and then you are inside the water running in front of you.
The cascades in Iguassu
The sea of Sardinia, wonderful colours and sea. The black rocks and sea in Pantelleria,a little marvellous Italian island.
Saling and windsurfing are experiences everybody should try once in a lifetime.
Bali is a deep human experience. Indonesian style of life is inspiring.
We love skiing even though we don't go very often.

Insegna, impara, condividi

Ignorance is blindness, knowledge is seeing with a pure and true mind. Knowledge reached through experience and love illuminates our minds with its brightness. I'm Buddhist Zen and practise regularly. If you want to experience the Zen practice I can introduce you to the Zen Centre.
