About Me
Hi there,
My name is Donatas, I am third year student of political science in Vilnius University , Lithuania, a teacher and an explorer. An adventurous and friendly individual. Love meeting people, discovering new sights.
I do believe that nowadays life is a fast-paced race. At times I personally prefer to slow down and embrace the moment until it goes away . My moto is: keep calm and embrace the life (people, places). It's great !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've never engaged myself in couchsurfing before. This will be my first time.
I would really like to visit Copenhagen, Denmark. I remember reading a book about Harold Bluetooth when I was a child. I want to know more about the Danish culture, language, the way of life and make friends.
And is there a better way to do all this rather than living with the local people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done was deciding to take a gap year from studies and go to London. It was crazy !. I was going on my own without any plans or arrangements whatsoever. It was so not like me! However at the end I loved the result. I met really lovely people (lasting connections!), explored different cultures, tried new occupations and activities. The most amazing of those was teaching - a newfound passion. I have never thought about being a teacher before, but here I am right now still remembering those months and occasionally missing my coolest students! That was really an amazing venture!
Countries I’ve Lived In
